Tyrone Palmer Bio
Tyrone has been singing since the age of ten, his voice carrying him from childhood dreams to international stages. In 2001, he found success in the world of electronic dance music when he was featured on “Lifetimes” from the critically acclaimed album Alien Radio by Scottish duo SLAM, released on SOMA Records. He was also a longtime collaborator with his high school friend Felix Da Housecat, contributing his vocals to the singles “My Life Muzik” and “Ready2Wear”. But even as his career in house music grew, Tyrone felt a deeper calling stirring within him. In 2004, at the height of his momentum, he walked away from the dance world and dedicated his life to Jesus Christ. For more than a decade, he stepped back from the spotlight, embracing a season of healing, transformation, and preparation to become an ambassador for the Kingdom of God. That journey came full circle in 2018 when Tyrone released “Watch Over Me,” his first song since leaving the dance scene—an anointed offering born out of faith, renewal, and surrender. Today, Tyrone stands not only as a vocalist, but also a minister, blog writer, producer, DJ, and mixing engineer, using every gift God has given him to create music that inspires, uplifts, and points hearts to Christ. From the clubs of the early 2000s to the altar of worship today, Tyrone’s story is one of redemption, transformation and restoration. And with each new release, he continues to prove that when talent meets divine purpose, the result is music that changes lives.
